Postcards from your life.

 

We could sit and talk for hours.

 

Life seemed so easy then; our greatest worries were about what the kids in school were saying or how our parents were always making us do our homework. We spent the days walking the woods, exploring nature, or just fishing off the Still Water bridge.

 

Our imagination took us anywhere we wanted to go. I remember the first time someone asked me who my best friend was and without a thought I said her name. I knew she felt the same about me.

 

As with everything, time has moved us on. We don’t talk as much or as often as we should, it seems our busy and hectic lives often get in the way. But it is comforting to know that my forever friend is out there and we can still reach out and talk about the times of our lives.
