My goals was to create a moment that overwhelmed the senses with a feeling of depth and grandness. Only by returning to nature can we achieve the best example of this by witnessing the majestic scenes of the Great Valleys.
If you stare closely at the center of the image for a few seconds the image seems to draw you in allowing you to become part of the grandeur. This is accomplished by using a layering technique of light and dark.
In our daily lives, where we spend time searching for true miracles, maybe just a moment spent in reflection in Twilight Valley can provide you with a connection to the miraculous.

"Thoughts While Creating"
Twilight falls and you’re alone.
Standing in the valley as the sun sets brings forth the feelings of connectivity with nature and the universe. Memories of family and friends flood your heart with echoes of love. All are awed by this valley, older than the millennia. It stands as a symbol of consistency and order in times of chaos and tumult.
Every night at this time a true miracle appears. The sun inches over the horizon generating the warmest hues of brown and orange as it mixes with the colors of the valley itself. The canvas is completed just as God intended it to be. Although time is fleeting, and the scenes change, you can be sure that this valley of love will stand.
Twilight Valley is yet another reminder that miracles happen every day and that if we just take the moment to really see, all will be revealed.
