Nature decorates in its own way and its own time. Imagine for a moment being in the forest on a night when the snow is falling and the air is crisper that you can ever remember. Snuggled in our sleigh wrapped in our blankets we are warmed by the love of our familiy and friends.
This was originally going to be part of the Holiday Series but as the story unfolded during development the end result determined that it had to be part of the Welcome Home Series.
Far back in the upper left of the image and you can see the slight hint of the light of our home. This is a subtle reminder that ultimately we will all return to the light and warmth of home. The trees have been lit by the stars with each color representing a different aspect of the spirit.

"Thoughts While Creating"
Who has decorated the sparkling forest?
Caught in a prism of colors; the blues, purples, and whites fill our eyes and hearts with wonder. Nature is preparing for the coming of winter, icicles form and the frosty winds begin to blow. The sparkles of light are reflected in the icy coating of the pond and the trees stand ready to greet us displaying their winter coats. We bear witness to this scene with an awe that inspires us at our deepest levels. Chilled air meets our breaths and past memories of warmth by the fire and family gatherings abound. (We can see the hint of the light of our home far off in the distance).
The horses on our sleigh indicate that they are ready to move on; yet we remain to absorb one more moment of nature’s perfection. As the snow begins to fall we leave the sparkling forest, so let’s wrap another blanket around our legs, dream of the hot cocoa that will soon cross our lips, and head to the comfort and warmth we call home.
