Horses are magnificent animals and one of our true animal friends.
Worldwide, horses play a role within human cultures and have done so for millennia. Horses are used for leisure activities, sports, and working purposes.
There are estimated to be 10 million horses in the United States alone. In a survey conducted by Animal Planet, more than 50,000 viewers from 73 countries voted for the horse as the world's 4th favorite animal.

A scene of awe and wonder lies before us and our friends.
As the sunset draws an end to the beauty of the day we watch as everyone returns home. The horses sense the coming of the night and look forward to the comfort, peace, and warmth of their friends. The scent of pine in the air mingles with the crispness of the new fallen snow and the intoxicating smell of freshly baked pies that have just left the oven and now cool in the evening mist.
We will soon enjoy the evening dinner and be together with all that come to our table. Savor the moment and be thankful for all that has been experienced this day.
