Oh beautiful for spacious skies, for purple mountain majesties.

 

There is a place where the dream lives, the dream of a land built upon the freedom of the individual who has been endowed with certain inalienable rights by their creator. The dream of self-reliance, of doing whatever is necessary, and defending everyone’s right to pursue their own destiny.

 

Those of us that are fortunate, even honored, to live in this place, have been given a great gift. It is time once again to honor that gift, to carry this great responsibility forward into the  future, to educate the next generation of what has been sacrificed by those in the past. Many who lived and died for our traditions.
