This image was created using a few different digital techniques. The sky was done with a digital knife and excess paint was used to create the clouds and sun. The umbrellas were interesting to form and the colors that I used were intented to highlight as well as compliment the sky and water colors.

The starfish were "carved' into the sand also using the digital knife and the ocha color was sprayed onto the digital canvas using the airbrush. The beach blanket started as an image quilt from another piece. I had created the quilt and was deciding what to do with it when serrendipity helped place it in this image. That seems to happen quite a bit to my designs.
