Midnight on the Corner of Dream Home & Needs Work.

 

You see the signs everywhere, dream home, great neighborhood, fixer upper, fresh coat of paint, stairs need a little work, and on and on with the endless litany of marketing terms. But, does this also apply to the lives we lead, do we portray a shiny vaneer that does not truly represent what is below?

 

While the surface is important let us never forget that it is the core foundation upon which everything is built. Paint can be removed, dust can be cleaned, but it is harder to repair the damage to the foundation of a heart or soul. Look for the places where the light is available to cleanse, inspire, and motivate you, for the work that is needed can be accomplished through wise reflection and understanding.

 

Look closely at your life, then ask yourself the following question -“Am I living in my dream home and how much work do I need?
